Christ Episcopal Church
Putting the Word of Christ Into Action
Services held every Sunday at 9:30 beginning January 4th
in person and via ZOOM.
Organized in 1740

The formal organization of Christ Church took place in 1740 under the leadership of the Rev. John Beach, priest of the parish of Newton. Christ Church is believed to be the oldest Anglican parish in Litchfield County.
We seek to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ as a parish of faith, fellowship, and friendship. We therefore welcome all friends, old and new, with open doors, open hearts, and outstretched arms.

Worship services at Christ Church in January are at 9:30 AM
every Sunday in person and via ZOOM.
We are currently without our own priest but will continue to celebrate the Holy Eucharist when we are
assisted by guest clergy.
On Sundays without clergy coverage, we offer a rich service of Morning Prayer led by our team of
Lay Worship Leaders.
Our church and parish hall are accessible to
those with mobility issues.
Come, Let us Worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness
